how it started

my obsession with NFTs began in 2021 when i tried minting a squishy squad in the middle of a road trip on my phone and lost all my gas fees not knowing wtf a wl was. failing made me want to keep going

wen invisible friends was pushing out sneak peaks i knew i needed to collect one. getting a wl spot was near impossible, and my twitter account was brand new with barely any followers. so i decided to use the skills i learned in my every day job to make a life-sized version out of foam. i took a shitty pic of it and shared it on twitter and the response was insane. the official page retweeted me and that got me a spot to mint.

doing that started my career in foam, where i would make huge foam displays of super hyped collections and take pictures with them. after seeing how passionate ppl on ct were with their identities, i decided to start commissioning smaller foam physicals but i knew i needed to find a way to separate my work from anyone else. i began gluing separate layers of foam together that make up the physical sculpture to create wat i call a 2.5D effect. and i called them foamiis.

since 2021 ive been helping collectors own a real physical tangible piece of their favorite projects/identities online. i run free foamii giveaways on twitter where i make and send a custom foamii for someone free of charge shipping included
